Following the 2022 summer season blockbuster phenomenon of Illumination’s Minions: The Rise of Gru, the most important world animated franchise in historical past now begins a brand new chapter as Gru (Steve Carrell), Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their ladies – Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Madison Polan) – welcome a brand new member to the Gru household, Gru Jr., who’s intent on tormenting his dad.

Gru finds a brand new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the household is pressured to go on the run. 

The movie options recent new characters voiced by Joey King (Bullet Prepare), Stephen Colbert (The Late Present with Stephen Colbert), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Evening Reside). Pierre Coffin returns as the long-lasting voice of the Minions, whereas Steve Coogan returns as Silas Ramsbottom.

Filled with continuous motion and crammed with Illumination’s signature subversive humor, Despicable Me 4 is directed by a co-creator of the Minions, Chris Renaud (Despicable MeThe Secret Lifetime of Pets). The movie is produced by Illumination’s founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman (The Tremendous Mario Bros. FilmMinions: The Rise of Gru). Patrick Delage co-directs (Sing 2The Secret Lifetime of Pets 2) from a screenplay by Mike White (White Lotus) and the veteran author of each Despicable Me movie, Ken Daurio.

Despicable Me 4 hits theaters July 3.
